Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Kira Jenkins, and I am a part of the class of 2026. I go to The John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD. I play for the Northeast Maryland Select (NEMS) program. My cumulative GPA for my freshman and sophomore year is a 4.42. At John Carroll, I ran Varsity XC freshman and sophomore year. Three years ago, I competed in American Select on the Maryland Red team, and we won the National Championship for the class of 2026. Two summers ago, I once again played in American Select with the Maryland Yellow team. Some of my extra curriculars include SGA as a delegate, patriots4kids, and newspaper. Some things enjoy doing in my free time are reading, hanging out with friends and family, working out, going to the beach, listening to music, and so much more.
