Personal Statement
Hi Coaches! My name is Kennedy and I’m in my 9th season as a catcher. I enjoy the position as I like to take charge and rally my teammates. I make sure that my pitchers are comfortable and I can adjust to all the different pitching styles. I train six days a week. I take the time to stretch my body to prevent injuries, and on game days I eat like an athlete. I have a high softball IQ, constantly thinking about the next play. While catching I can call pitches and as a batter I study pitchers for tipping the pitch. Being competitive drives me, I'm always up for a challenge, and work towards success. I show leadership on the field, and I communicate well with my coaches, teammates, and the umpires. I earned straight As my entire academic career. My current interest is aviation.
