Personal Statement
My name is Katy Lambert, and I am a 2024 graduate out of Alameda High School in Alameda, California. I am primarily a right handed pitcher, and I take great pride in my changeup. When I am not pitching I play anywhere in the outfield. I have played softball for almost 10 years, and I have learned the importance of maintaining confidence within yourself. Although I have struggled with this at times, doing mental training has given me assistance in learning how to control my controllables. I also have learned the importance of being a student athlete, and I have maintained a 4.0 in the classroom. I look to major in a sports medicine field, and I am leaning towards kinesiology.
