Hi coaches! My name is Katie Welte. For 8 years now, I have been playing softball and the game has taught me valuable lessons I will carry throughout my lifetime. Softball has helped me learn how to push myself during the hardest times, how to be a great teammate, and to never give up. I am a hard working athlete who is never afraid to try something new. I primarily play catcher and third, but put me in any position and I will give my all. Throughout my high school years, I have managed to keep a 4.4 (weighted) GPA while participating in various school and volunteer opportunities. Being a supportive and accountable teammate is very important to me and is always something I strive for. A huge goal for me is to play at the collegiate level.
