Personal Statement
My name is Katie Taraschewsky and I am a 2026 Junior at Barrington High School. I am the #1 pitcher for Barrington and the Chicago Wildcats KB/KY 18U. Last year at Barrington my record was 27-6 (188 IP, 142 SO). I was All Conference, All Area and Class 4A All State 2nd team. I pitched for the Beverly Bandits 16U Freeland at the Huntington Beach,CA PGF Tournament this July where the Bandits took 5th in the nation. My record with the Bandits is 3-0. I bat cleanup for Barrington and averaged 1 RBI per game. I recently pitched for the Wildcats 18U at the LP4U Tournament in Peoria, IL where I went 3-0 (11 IP/7 SO) and batted .700 with 3 HR. I am very coachable and an outstanding fielding pitcher. I am searching for a college with great academics and a great softball program.
