Katie Hanich

I am a multi-sport athlete (field hockey, swimming, and lax) who enjoys competition and physical activities. I am committed to academic excellence and I hope the lessons on the hockey field transfer to the college classroom as I pursue an undergraduate degree in an exercise science field. I consider myself a dynamic midfielder/defender who has strong technical skills and an exceptional hockey IQ. My greatest strength is my ability to read the field and make quick and sound decisions that create scoring opportunities for my team. My elimination and distributions skills are great assets to my presence in the midfield. Finally, I have a fierce love for the game. I possess an excellent work ethic and have a strong desire to continue to learn and grow as a player.
