Personal Statement
What I love about softball is what it teaches me, both on and off the field. My coach often tells me to step back and enjoy the moment. If I’ve missed a spot, or given up a hit, sometimes I’ll look off beyond the field and take a moment to appreciate where I am and what I’m doing, no matter the outcome. I try to take this mindset with me whether I’m practicing, working out, or studying: I enjoy the process just as much as the result. Awards and Achievements: Fall 2023 Stat Line (16u): 75 IP, 8-2, 124 K’s, 1.370 ERA, 0.747 WHIP Summer 2023 Stat Line (14u): 134 IP, 14-2, 218 K’s, 0.780 ERA, 0.691 WHIP Spring 2023 Stat Line (14u): 76 IP, 3-0, 149K, 0.368 ERA, 0.539 WHIP Selected to 14U 2023 All Summer Team by Extra Innings Softball Top 10 finish at PGF Premier Nationals (42 IP/ 62 K’s)
