When I was young, I had an older sister who played volleyball, and a father who coached volleyball. Therefore, it was only natural that I too would fall in love with the sport. Ever since the first time I dragged my dad outside to pepper with me, I haven’t been able to imagine what I would do if I stopped playing. So, when asked why I dedicate so much time to the sport and why I keep playing, the answer is simple. I love it. That said, I hope to continue to play in college so that I may not only continue doing what I love, but so that while entering a new stage of life, I can find camaraderie in my teammates, have a source of structure, and learn to play at the highest level.
