Personal Statement
My name is Katherine Granchalek. I am a Junior at Evanston Township Highschool in Evanston Illinois. I have started as an attacker on ETHS's Varsity lacrosse team since Freshman year. I earned all-sectional and all-conference awards Freshman and Sophomore years. I love growing my skill independently and as a part of a team. I also enjoy working with others and trying new things to improve my lacrosse knowledge and my capacity as a player. Academically, my college major is currently undecided; but I plan to have a pre-health focus. I have been a student Athletic Trainer for three years and want to pursue Physical Therapy or Medicine. I seek a college environment that challenges me so I can develop my character on and off the field and better my capacity as a player and student.
