Personal Statement
Growing up, my parents always stressed the importance of excelling in everything you do. I always try to be the best I can at everything, but I also try to help my teammates get better too. During my club season this past year, I really took that to heart and hold my teammates accountable. This year for Homestead, we won conference for the first time in 20 years!! Throughout the past year, I learned how to balance my life, by playing on my basketball club teams as well varsity softball while staying focused on my schoolwork. I learned how to prioritize things in my life that made me a better player, even if it meant sacrificing some things. Overall, I love playing basketball and couldn’t imagine my life without it.
