Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Katelen Pedroza, a middle infielder and utility player graduating in 2025 from Legacy High School in South Gate, CA. I love the leadership role of a middle infielder and working with my teammates to secure outs. Softball lets me support other female athletes, just as they support me. I've traveled the country with the MLB Develops program and recently won the 2024 Jennie Finch Empowerment Award, thanks to my coaches, teammates, and parents. I plan to continue my education and play collegiate softball, majoring in sports administration or business, to give back to the community and help young girls achieve their college ball dreams.
