Personal Statement
Hi, my Name is Kate Kenney, I am a 2026 first baseman and LHP for the CO Bombers. I am a junior at Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, Colorado and play for the Lady Cougars. We earned #2 in state last fall – what a huge motivator to be in the top spot for 2025! I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old and love this sport! I love school, my family and hanging out with my friends. I am a good student and sing in choir. I have 2 Bernese Mountain dogs who are 100 lb fur balls! I have grit and put in the work to be successful as a student and an athlete. As an individual I push myself to improve and love being part of a team. I am a person who can face challenges with integrity and come out on the other side ready to move forward. I know I would be a valuable part of your team.
