Personal Statement
Hello coaches! My name is Kate Budde, and I started playing volleyball around 7th grade. Ever since then, I have been in love with the sport. I have played club volleyball since my 14s year and played for Jerome in 9th grade. Unfortunately, in February of my freshman year, I was involved in a serious car accident in the middle of my 15s year on a 16s team. I was out of sports for about a year and while I couldn't play, I was the high school team manager sophomore year. Since then, I have been passionate about getting back into sports and playing at a collegiate level. I am also a dual sport athlete on varsity for my high school's track team. I plan to major in a health science, and I believe my rigorous high school course load has helped prepare me for both college academics and athletics.
