Personal Statement
My name is Kasey Alvino. I am currently a senior at Connetquot High School where I am in all AP and honors classes and on the principals honor roll. I have played soccer since I was 5 yrs old and it continues to be my passion. I am a starter on the Varsity school team and currently play center back and forward positions with U17 Stony Brook/LGN Rush (rank #2 NYE). I also play futsal and summer league soccer. On the field, I use my size and speed to tackle, block and shield my opponents. I have the flexibility to play defensive and offensive positions, so my varsity and travel coaches take advantage of my flexibility. In my spare time, I work as an Assistant Referee and enjoy training younger soccer players. I also volunteer at the local fire department and school fundraisers.
