Volleyball is the sport my father and I have in common.Our love for the sport began on the island of Puerto Rico, he played there and I would join him weekly to games.The game was fascinating to me: the hits, the jumps, the strategy, and the competitiveness. It was fun and I wanted to play. Fast forward to today the pandemic hits and it is my freshman year in high school there were many unknowns but my dad knew I’d need to train if I wanted a spot on varsity. I trained and practiced at home. I worked with what I had: a homemade target, my front yard and the driveway. I was determined to make the varsity team. I did and made first team division setter! I am a hard worker who wants to get better. Please review my information. I think I would be a great asset to your team and your school.
