Personal Statement
As a multisport athlete, I enjoy playing soccer, volleyball, hockey, track & field and swimming but my heart belongs to basketball. At six feet tall I enjoy blocking shots and stealing the ball in defensive situations. I am the starting point guard for Okanagan Mission Secondary Jr team and I am a starting swing guard for FYBA, Genesis and BC United club teams. I train hard to be stronger, more agile, be faster and smarter than my opponents. My athleticism makes me a threat at both ends of the floor. I am just as diligent in my studies being named to the Principal’s List, Work Ethic and Honour Role since I began school. I aspire to become a cardiac surgeon which means I must be the best student I can possibly be by maintaining excellent grades and also remain committed to my athletics.
