Personal Statement
I'm Kami Straub, I've cheered, played volleyball, softball, basketball and ran track. My passion is lacrosse, I've been playing for 7 years. I missed my Sophomore year of sports because I tore my ACL June 2021. I stayed connected by helping coach the HS fall lacrosse team. Spring season, I went to practice and games. As the team manager, I was a positive influence on the sideline, giving feed back to my teammates. I am coachable, a leader, I'm competitive and a team player. I'm driven to play lacrosse at the next level. Since my ACL tear, I'm stronger because I workout and running daily. My older sister played softball at Young Harris for her 4 years and I saw how awesome it was for her to participate with a team and meet new life long friends.
