I am a jr at Watchung Regional HS in Warren, NJ. I have been playing ice hockey for 5 yrs. I began playing when I was in middle school, a little later than others. Which is why I chose not to play any other sport, so I could focus on just hockey. Middle and high school yrs were difficult, both academically and socially, mostly due to COVID. Thankfully, hockey barely stopped, which gave me an outlet to not only keep moving, but also allowed me to stay connected to my peers. So, the ice became my place of peace. As soon as I get on the ice, nothing else matters other than my game, and playing to the best of my ability, while still having fun. When I imagine my future at college, I can't imagine it without hockey being a part of it. I have loaded some clips on my YouTube page @kaleymadura66.
