Personal Statement
My name is Kaitlyn Hendrian, a senior at Eaglecrest High School in Aurora, CO. I've played varsity softball since freshman year as a power hitter and catcher. This year, I earned Second Team All-State, First Team All-Centennial League, and Academic All-State honors. My mom, a former pitcher at UNC-Chapel Hill and coach for nearly 30 years, and my sister, a senior pitcher at Florida Tech, have greatly influenced my love for the game. I plan to major in Secondary Education with a focus on Social Studies. I’m passionate about helping others learn, and outside of softball, I enjoy working out, shot put, and cooking. My goal is to pursue both academics and softball at the college level.
