Personal Statement
I live in downtown Toronto, Canada where I’ve been playing basketball for 7 years. I enjoy both local and AAU travel competitions with my club team Toronto NuStep Ballers. I’m an honour roll student at Crestwood Preparatory College, a private school with one of the best academic/basketball programs in Canada. I intend to pursue math and science in university. I get along well with my peers and teammates who I’m friends with outside of school. My goal is to play professional basketball after university. Players I look up to are Iverson, Kobe and Lillard but my favourite is Russell Westbrook because he plays with intensity and passion every possession just like me. Other sports I enjoy are track and field, ultimate frisbee and flag football. I also love animals and have a ferret and a dog.
