Personal Statement
When I was little, I fell in love with the game of softball. It has been a very important part of my life and I want it to continue when I go to college. Softball has taught me life skills of working hard, working with others, and how to never give up even when something gets hard. I love the grit and determination the game requires and how softball always pushes me to my limits. I have had Type 1 Diabetes since I was 8 years old and having this disability has made me stronger mentally in all aspects of my life. I pride myself in taking negative situations and looking for positive ways to grow as a person and a player, and I try to help my teammates do the same. I feel I have a lot to offer and would be honored to be a part of a college softball team.
