Personal Statement
My Name is Kaia Johnson. I am a 5”6 DS/ Hitter. I am a proud member of Oak Ridge High School’s c/o 2022. I'm an extremely competitive player, playing since the age of 12. I strive for personal growth and team success. I love being pushed to excel on the court as well as being challenged as a leader. I focus on communicating verbally along with physical cues on the court to uplift and help my team. More than anything, I hope to continue my volleyball journey in college. My goals are to align my academic and athletic interests with the right program. Academically, I want to pursue a medical degree with a Bachelor’s in computer science to one day become a trauma surgeon. Athletically, I'm looking to compete for playing time as a Freshman Libero/DS and eventually earn a starting spot.
