Personal Statement
I began playing lacrosse at age 13. I quickly learned the game and have played almost continuously since then. I have lots of tournament time and made varsity on the DeWitt High School team as a freshman and then the coronavirus happened. I have very good footwork and speed and play tenacious defense. I am also very coachable and love the camaraderie of lacrosse. I have a job as a groundskeeper and I have also volunteered for fundraisers (breast cancer) for the community and taught lacrosse to kids ages 5-7. I also play in a community basketball league. Academically, I maintain a 4.0+ average, I am on the Student Council, and am in DeWitt High School's Academic Hall of Fame, and the DeWitt National Honor Society.
