Personal Statement
My name is Juno Yu. I am a '26 pitcher/centerfielder playing for the Head-Royce Jayhawks in Oakland, CA. I have been in the starting lineup since freshman year, originally as a third baseman before taking over as pitcher. I've been named first-team all-league for the BCL-East all three years I've played for the Jayhawks. On my travel team, 510 Pride, I was a starting centerfielder and pitcher. In school, I founded the Student Athletics Leadership Council and also play for the tennis team. I am also an active member of MIXED club and the Pan-Asian-Student-Alliance. I am interested in studying astrophysics and studio arts, working towards my career goal of becoming an astronaut. Softball has been an influential part of my life and I am looking forward to continuing to play in college.
