Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Julia Howard and I am known for my leadership and energy on and off the court. I started my athletic career at the age of 7 playing flag football. I did other sports as a kid, but this one taught me how to be a team player, it helped me mentally and physically. At the age of 9, I started to compete at JJVA. From that moment on I knew volleyball was my passion. Back in 2022 I won a national championship at AAU’s with my team. I can proudly say that was one of my greatest victories. One of my goals in life is to work harder every day whether that would be in sports, activities, or school. I am currently taking honors classes, AP classes, and clubs. As I’ve gotten older my appreciation and love for volleyball has grown tremendously and I strive to be the best I can be.
