Julia Cannon

Since being introduced to lacrosse in 7th grade, I have played both varsity and club, and loved every minute of it. Midfield is now my primary position – I believe that it suits my strengths including quickness, endurance, and field vision. Of course I like scoring, but my favorite parts of the game are strategy, moving off the ball, delivering assists, and working with my teammates to succeed. Looking ahead to college, my goal is to pursue a career in forensic psychology, and I would love for college lacrosse to be a part of that experience. I remain very committed to this sport, and have been told by many coaches that I am extremely ‘coachable' - I want to build on this and work every day to improve my game. I am excited about the opportunities that lacrosse can provide in the future.
