Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Joy. I attend Johnston Heights Secondary, an authorized International Baccalaureate Programme school. I have successfully completed the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and currently hold a 3.44 GPA. Over time, I grew a passion, love and obsession for the sport, which I reflect in my game; viewing every game as an opportunity to improve my skills. Outside of basketball, I am a member of the Athletic Leadership team at my school, a part of the Anti-Racism committee, and a volunteer at Favour of God Church. These activities provide me with skills which translate on the court, allowing me to work more vocally and cohesively with my teammates. As the years progress, I look forward to developing my skills academically and athletically. Thank you for reading.
