Personal Statement
My name is Josephine Guido, I am a student and Varsity soccer player in the Class of 2028 at Notre Dame High School (Lawrence, NJ). I've been on my current academy team, NLSA Surf 2010 ECNL-RL (a top 10 team in NJ) for 5 years. My primary position is Outside Back, and since I am an offensive-minded player, I can both attack and defend. My strengths are my vision on the ball, scoring on set pieces, and my 1v1 defending. I love this position because it gives me the freedom to be a well-rounded teammate. I’ve also played winger, striker, center back and defensive-mid. In my free time I like to spend my days at the beach reading or with my family and friends. I am looking for a college or university that suits my athletic and academic abilities, where I can grow as a player and a person.
