Personal Statement
I am a leader on the court as well as in the classroom. My grit sets me apart from other players. I have been referred to as my team's "spark plug" because I have the ability to control the energy & effort on defense. I am a vocal leader on the court. I love the challenge of getting to a ball that seems impossible! I also compete in the long jump, hurdles & pole vault. My 1st year as a pole vaulter I qualified for the KHSAA State Championships. I take honor classes & my academic studies are my 1st priority. I work really hard to maintain a high GPA. I want to continue my volleyball career at the next level & contribute my work ethic & dynamic style of play to a successful college program while focusing on a quality education.
