Personal Statement
Hi Coaches, my name is Jordyn Gardner, and I will be a 2028 graduate from Portage Northern High School in Portage, Michigan. I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old and have been on the same travel team since 9U. I currently play LF/CF/RF for my travel team MI Storm 2k9. We had a very successful summer in 2024 going 76-15-2 and winning 5 USSSA tournaments. I am looking forward to my freshman year in High School and my goal is to make the Varsity team. When I am not training or playing softball, I also participate on our school’s track team and broke two school records this past year in the 50-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x200 team. I love playing softball and my dream is to continue playing at the collegiate level while working on my career in Interior Design.
