Personal Statement
My name is Jordan Simmons, class of 2025. I am a LHP for Athletics Mercado Smith 18u and attend Canyon High School in Anaheim, CA. I prioritize my education, maintaining a 4.7 weighted GPA, participating in multiple clubs, and volunteering in my community. I have been on the varsity softball team at Canyon since my freshman year, and I earned offensive player of the year playing water polo during the offseason. In the circle, I attack the strike zone with my drop curve and screwball, throwing strikes and creating slow ground balls that stay in the infield. Softball is my passion and my goal is to play at the college level. Off the field, I enjoy working out, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
