Johnny Schlattman

My name is Johnny Schlattman. I began playing soccer at age 3 and am currently a starter on my high school varsity team ranked 2nd in the area. When I was 10, I decided to start playing with the Project Missouri Lacrosse Club because my older brother played. My soccer experience has helped me in lacrosse because I understand spacing, have a good vision of the field and know when to make my cuts to the crease. I like lacrosse more than soccer because I feel like I can be more creative, the game is more exciting, and I get to handle the ball a lot more. I am constantly working on my stick skills, shooting, and my speed and strength because I have to be able to beat d-poles in a number of different ways. I can't wait to play at the next level.
