Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Jocelyn and I am looking forward to continuing my soccer career in college. I'm currently rostered on Stonybrook LGN Thunder 2008. I started playing soccer at the age of 8 and it has grown to be part of my everyday life. I am very passionate about this sport and I strive to get better everyday, which is why on my off season, aside from practicing with my team indoors, I run on the Centereach High School Varsity Track team. On my club team I play forward, but during my high school season I play for the Varsity team as a defender, which is a great opportunity to be as versatile as possible. I believe my strength in running is a great aspect to these positions. Along with athletics I am able to maintain my grades as a honors student in AP and College classes my junior year.
