Personal Statement
My name is Jiselle Chinea. I am an outside back and defensive midfielder. I am very competitive in all aspects of my life, whether it is soccer or school. I also run track to enhance my speed and endurance on the field. As an outside back I use my speed to move the ball up and winning 1v1s down the line. As a defensive midfielder I utilize my endurance to find the gaps so I can switch and distribute the ball. I started playing soccer because of my older sister who is a sophomore at UGA. My sister and I have always driven each other to do our best. She still drives me to follow in her footsteps as a successful college soccer player. I always strive to be well-rounded and have good grades so I can become a surgical dermatologist. Overall I am an agile and technically strong team player.
