Personal Statement
My name is Jillian Anderson, a Junior at Ward Melville High school. I’m part of the Class of 2025 and play for a competitive Stonybrook LGN Rush travel team and the Ward Melville Varsity soccer team. My high school team won the New York State Championships in 2022 and 2023 and my club team is ranked #3 in NYE, as well as had qualified for several regional championships. I am a defensive midfielder but can play anywhere in the midfield and adjust to wherever my coaches and team need me. I am hardworking, a team player, and see the field well. Being a student athlete, I involve myself in multiple AP courses as well as clubs. I am excited to play in college and show my leadership, as I'm willing to do anything for the team to succeed.
