Personal Statement
I am a student athlete at Webster Thomas High School. I played two varsity sports this year, soccer and lacrosse. I've played them both for 10 years, being a goalie in soccer and defender in lacrosse. Since freshman year I have been a part of Rotary Club, a club dedicated to volunteer work. The reason I started playing lacrosse is because I grew up watching my older sister play. She now plays division 1 and watching her grow created my huge passion for this sport and I'm hoping to continue to play after high school. One of the reasons I love lacrosse is because of the way it teaches to be a teammate and not an individual. I also have two jobs and babysit for the families on my street. I love babysitting because I hope to further my education and become an elementary teacher after college.
