Personal Statement
Hello, My name is Jewel Carling. I have been playing volleyball since I was in first grade. I just finished my sophomore year of indoor college volleyball at Benedictine University Mesa. I should graduate college in 2027. I was told to update grad year to 2025 to show I’m a transfer. I am looking to transfer to another university to finish my college career in the 2025 season. I play opposite and middle-blocker positions. I was just named for the NAIA Daktronics scholar athlete. Coaches can contact my current school. During my time at Benedictine, I won freshmen of the year for the CalPac Conference, freshmen athlete of the year for the university, and I set the all-time season kill percentage for the school. For fun, I enjoy playing guitar, piano, and the ukulele.
