Personal Statement
I am Jeneal Grace Balbin. Known to my peers and coaches as "Spyder". Why Spyder you might ask? My first club volleyball coach gave me that nickname as I always touched the net when I first started out as a setter. I was 13 years old then. Now at 17 years old, I've been a Libero and Defensive Specialist for the last 4 years. I have a passion for volleyball. I take pride in being able to read and call the ball on the court. I'm a hard worker, always willing to learn and improve myself. As first captain of my team this season, I am excited to hone my leadership skills, learn from my teammates, and further grow together as a team.
