Jaron Yoshikane

As a catcher, outfielder, and DH, I am considered compact, sturdy, and athletic. My personality is calm, cool, and collected. I am a player who is highly coachable. When catching, I have soft, quiet hands when receiving and turn balls into strikes. My transfer is quick followed by a strong and accurate throw. I am a solid blocker that keeps the ball in front of me. In the outfield, I am capable of covering a lot of ground while having accurate reads. To most, I am known as a power hitter. My strong lower half generates most of my power. I have a compact swing, but also have the ability to hit the long ball to all fields. Being a student at ‘Iolani, I have been instilled with our “One Team” philosophy which encompasses being a good teammate. I always strive to become a better player.
