Personal Statement
Soccer is my PRIDE, PEACE AND COMFORT. It brings out my biggest competitive side. I feel accomplished when scoring goals, making good passes and moves on defenders. Most importantly it gives me a sense of community, teammates and life long friends. I was raised to understand the values of discipline, attitude, effort, sacrifice and commitment in all that I do. But soccer is my own and what sets me apart are things that can’t be taught such as my grit: passion, perseverance and the courage to keep pushing, even after failure. I want to achieve my goal of playing with a college team and make it to play on the national teams. I plan to pursue a degree that can be utilized in the soccer industry. Soccer brings out the best in me and I know I will help bring out the best in your program.
