Personal Statement
I’m Jamie Kelly and I am a Junior (Class of 2023) at Skyline HS in Front Royal, Virginia. A three sport varsity athlete, I play volleyball, basketball (All District as a freshman) and the starting third base/shortstop/pitcher for softball before our season was cut short with Covid19. Softball is my PASSION! Known for my outstanding glove play in the “hot corner”, my arm strength and accuracy suit me well for the left side of the infield. I am a power hitter with the ability to hit in the clutch situation. As a member of Team Virginia, I play third, shortstop and pitch. Education is stressed in my family, and my academic achievement, classroom successes and participation in many academic clubs help make me a well-rounded student athlete. I plan to study Criminal Justice in college.
