Personal Statement
My name is Jacob Getchell class of 2025. I play football and baseball at Whitman-Hanson Regional High school in Whitman, Massachusetts. I am a right-handed pitcher for Whitman Hanson Varsity and East Coast Eagles 17u White Team. As a sophomore I was a starter in a 3-man varsity rotation and finished with a 1.120 ERA for the spring season and contributed to our Whitman Hanson Baseball team reaching the round of 4 in the MIAA Tournament in 2023. This last summer, I played for East Coast Eagles 16u White team as a starting pitcher. I finished with a 0.737 ERA for the season playing against New England's best showcase teams. I currently have a 4.62/4.00 weighted GPA and I’ll be taking 4 AP classes for senior year.
