Personal Statement
Hey, I'm Jacob Gabe, and with my first touches in Australia at age three, soccer has been a big part of my life from the get-go! After moving around the world and joining different soccer clubs, I've learned to bloom wherever I'm planted and adapt to any situation. At my current club, I have played key leadership roles. During my U15 season, my team was having a failing season, but then midway through the season I was named captain and led my team to win the state championship to qualify for regionals. My leadership even extends beyond soccer; I am section leader for my high school's top jazz band and I lead worship for my school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Lastly, what I love about soccer is that it gives me an opportunity to glorify Christ, whether on or off the pitch.
