Personal Statement
My name is Jacob Boland. I am a 2024 baseball player for TC Baseball (formerly CBC Blackhawks), Durham Bulls (Fall Ball) and Fairfield High School (Greater Miami Conference). I have a strong work ethic and a great desire to play baseball at the collegiate level. I am a pitcher and utility player (OF, 1B, 2B). During the past few years I have developed a passion for pitching and have been training at Ohio Baseball Science Academy. My strength as a pitcher has always been my offspeed and location of my pitches. However, my fastball velocity has increased from 74 mph to the upper 80's over the last 3 years. I am excited to keep working hard and to see what opportunities are ahead of me.
