Jack Boyle

I am not a human highlight film. I'm not flashy enough, not the type to get a lot of "oohs and aahs" out of the crowd. And I may seem too short. But I play with a chip on my shoulder. I am the player who does all of the dirty work to help his team win. I cover the other team's best player every game. If I don't hold him to at least 10 points under his average, I consider it a bad game. I get my points from hard work: I crash the boards as well as any guard out there. I anticipate passing angles and use that to generate steals and fast break points. But it's not all intangibles: I'm a 2 time MVP of our State Champion varsity and 1st Team All Ivy Prep League. I've been a starter on Varsity since freshman year for one main reason: coach knows I will do anything it takes to win the game.
