Personal Statement
I am Izabella Kilgore and I'm a San Diego native, I've been playing soccer since I was four years old. I play center back mainly but I shift around the backline. On my high school varsity team, I played center defensive mid. I've grown up around soccer and to everyone around me and I, we've always seen it as so much more than just a sport. I've grown around the values of being a leader, not a follower, to be compassionate, honest, and trustworthy. To lead with both my head and my heart. These values came from my family and my community which mean the world to me. I've been a captain of the GA since joining the GA league, along with being a captain on my high school team since my freshman year. I would say I'm a resilient and coachable player.
