Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Isla Arel! I am currently a sophomore at Guyer High School in Denton, TX, class of 2027. I maintain excellent grades in school with a 4.0 GPA. Outside of school, I enjoy sharpening my softball skills, as well as spending time with family and friends. I play club ball for Texas Glory Adkins Gold 16U in Flower Mound, TX. My primary position is center field, but I also excel in left and right field, and middle infield. As a team player, I bring energy and leadership to the field and strive to improve through coaches' critiques. My speed, range, ball tracking, and defensive awareness are key to my defensive success. Offensively, I can hit for power to all fields, lay down a bunt if needed, and my speed on the base paths makes me a threat for extra-base hits and stolen bases.
