Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Izzy Bernasek and I am a sophomore at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, Maryland. At Stone Ridge, I am a three sport varsity athlete in field hockey, swimming, and lacrosse. As a freshman and sophomore, for the Stone Ridge lacrosse team, I was a starting defender and regularly went on the draw circle. Living in a family with two older brothers who are/were college athletes, I have grown up loving to compete! My peers elected me to serve on the Stone Ridge Honor Board this year and I also was honored to receive the Sacred Heart Award at the end of freshman and sophomore year. I also will serve as President of the junior class this upcoming school year. Outside of sports, I love to bake, hang out with friends, and always love reading a good book!
