Isabella Taveras Seda

Ever since I can remember, I have had a volleyball in my hand. Little did I know that from that moment on, this sport would take me in this amazing journey. It taught me to be confident in myself, to remain flexible against adversity, and to work with others who are different from me. When my family decided to move to Florida, I remember the excitement of coming to a new place, a wold full of opportunities. Leaving Puerto Rico was not easy for us, but it made all the difference in the world that I had this sport. The discipline, sense of responsibility, and the endurance (both physical and mental) that Volleyball has given me is invaluable. Volleyball has provided me with a family of dozens of teammates and parents and friends that can never be replaced.
