Personal Statement
Soccer has been a driving force in my life. For as long as I can remember, soccer has been my greatest passion. Years of hard work prepared me for a variety of roles. Leadership, teamwork, and responsibility are the most important skills that I learned while growing up in my life of soccer. Soccer has helped me immensely in being a leader and knowing that it is not about being in charge, but being a role model for my teammates. For two years I was my high school soccer's team captain. On the soccer field I am always positive and encouraging towards my teammates. It is important for me to pick up and encourage my teammates at all times. When I play the game, I lay my heart out on the field and give it everything I have win or lose. Soccer has taught me how to be a positive leader.
